Potluck Dessert Recipe: Punch Bowl Cake

Ingredients

  • Cake Mix, 1 chocolate and 1 white
  • Eggs, Oil, Water according to Cake Mix directions
  • 4 large boxes pudding, 2 vanilla and 2 chocolate
  • Milk amount as required by the pudding mix
  • 2 bags heath bar candy pieces
  • 2 large tubs of whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Bake cakes separately in 9X13 pans according to package directions.
  2. While cakes are baking, mix the pudding in separate containers for each flavor.
  3. Once cakes are cooled cut each in half.
  4. Crumble half of the chocolate cake in a punch bowl.
  5. Top with half of the vanilla pudding and half of a bag of candy pieces.
  6. Add half of the white cake and top with half of the chocolate pudding and candy pieces.
  7. Repeat until the cake and pudding are used.
  8. Cover top with cool whip and sprinkle with more candy pieces.
