Geraniol and Linalool

A water insoluble alcohol found in many essential oils, geraniol is commonly used as both an insect repellent and as a component in perfumes. Linalool is a terpene alcohol that occurs naturally in many plants, and its pleasant floral scent makes it a popular ingredient in soaps and shampoos.
