Oh happy day! Thanks to a bevy of handy dandy websites, converting cooking measurements, sourcing the best produce and fixing dinner in a snap just got easier. Take for example a site that converts just about everything. I now know how to convert quarts to cups, coffee spoons to teaspoons, and even jiggers into drams! Offering conversions for such convertibles such as weight, currency and especially cooking,

Last but not least are two Canadian sites dedicated to all things beef and poultry. The

http://www.chicken.ca sites offer recipes, cooking and handling tips, nutritional/health information, contests and a FAQ section. The beef site recipe section is quite comprehensive- you can find a recipe to suit either a cut of beef, cooking method or the type of recipe you wish to prepare (appetizer, main etc...). For the time-starved, a 20 minutes or under section serves up solid meals like Dijon Beef and Greens and Bourbon Peppercorn Steak. The chicken site lists a feature recipe as well as a recipe archive organized in alphabetical order. So now when you're looking to make a recipe that calls for a pint of apples with a demi of maple syrup cooked at gas mark 1, you'll know where to go and what to do. Happy trails!

I looked at that site, www.inyourkitchen.com, beautiful site! I love the design of it and the videos are great. I'm going to try a few recipes and let you know how they are. Have you tried any?

I tried the Grilled Romaine Salad from www.inyourkitchen.com it tasted great and was really easy. I'd never thought of grilling romaine before. I love the big HD videos too. Fun new site thanks for the link!
