Great, you kicked up my coffee addiction. ;)
I love coffee from different parts of the world, and I've found through repeated experiments that you can't count on Starbucks to "represent." My parents just got back from Indonesia, and the Sulawesi coffee they brought back for me is so much better than the murky stuff that passes for Sulawesi brew at Starbucks. So, Mary, since I blame you for my wanting of coffee after 5PM, please tell me if you know any great overseas coffee distributors that have a mail-order business? happy

In response to Yum! posted by JenniferMiner:

Hi Jennifer- there are a few Ethiopian places here in town that import the green Arabica beans for home roasting/grinding... I don't know if they deliver to the USA, but you'd be wise to check out the boys from Dark City - Toronto's first microroastery- their coffee is of excellent quality- from all around the world (and they buy Fair Trade beans to boot!). Go to www.darkcitycoffee.com and email/call Raymond. You can read a bit more about their fine bean varieties on the piece I wrote about the Good Food Show and Market. Let me know how it goes and happy brewing!
